Ingredients
1 ⅓ package (490g) of Champêtre Parisian potatoes
1 small yellow onion
A pinch of salt
45 ml (3 tbsp.) of flour
1 egg
30 ml (2 tbsp.) of vegetable oil
Steps
- Drain the Parisian potatoes well.
- Grate the potatoes and onion into a bowl.
- Add salt, flour and egg.
- Mix everything with your hands until you get a smooth paste.
- Take 2 tablespoons of batter and form a pancake with your hands. Repeat for the entire amount of mixture.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook 2 to 4 pancakes at a time.
- Cook until both sides are golden brown (3-4 minutes per side). Place them on an absorbent paper.
- Serve hot. You can eat them with a sweet or savory dip, depending on your taste.
